Armadillo Trapping
Armadillos for a long time have been an established Invasive Species here in South Florida. They tear up the nicest yards they can find in search of grubs and worms and anything else that crawls and wiggles. Their big damage that they do is when they decide to dig huge dens under homes, a/c pads, and worst of all, pool decks. Rescue Trappers has had numerous jobs where a/c pads and especially pool decks have collapsed from the armadillo unearthing them.
Rescue Trappers uses strictly live traps for the capture of armadillos and takes the time to place all traps in shady areas with plenty of cover. Rescue Trappers typically traps for 1 week, removing everything that is going in and out of the den holes and then seals hole up and guaranteeing nothing goes back in the den hole. Armadillos have been in the news more so lately with the spread of Diseases they have been attributed to.

Cool Observations from Trapping and Studying Armadillos for Over 48 Years:
Many other animals can be found occupying their den holes when they step out for the night.
Rattlesnakes, Opossums, Raccoons, Rabbits, nearly anything that can fit in their tunnel may call that den their home.
Armadillos may dig one den hole under a home and not come back for days, in the meantime, they may dig under several other homes, which allows the other animals to enter, rent-free until Rescue Trappers comes along and evicts them.
