From Firefighter to Wildlife Rescue Trapper
Rescue Trappers is owned and operated by Kevin Hilton. Kevin has been a Martin County resident for 46 yrs. Kevin is a proud retired Martin County Fire Rescue Fire Fighter. Kevin started trapping for fun with his first live trap at the age of 14 for rabbits just so he could see how cute the rabbits were up close, and then happily turn them loose where he caught them.
Now in my own words; I am very fortunate to be able to enjoy the life that I pursue. I so thoroughly enjoy being in the woods and on the water and have the utmost respect for all the wildlife and fish life that call it home. In my trapping business, before I set a live trap I take many things in consideration, primarily that of the well being of the animal. All traps are placed in the shade with a well proportioned meal, water, and hopefully in a place where humans will not stress the animal out, after all, they were here before us.
